A scarce original circa 1950's 'Belfast Public Health Nursing Service badge'; gilded brass oval example with blue enamel title surround, the centre displaying the 'City of Belfast Coat of Arms' enhanced with enamelling with Latin motto "Pro tanto quid retribuamus" (In return for so much, what shall we give back). Nightingale School of Nursing St Thomas Hospital London and General Nursing Council Badge.

A rare original early issue 'Florence Nightingale School of Nursing silver nurses badge', the reverse embossed only with "Nightingale School" and inscribed to the recipient "Sara M.I.Powell. 1918", complete with original pin fittings, two arms of the cross with minor enamel damage otherwise an excellent example. Together with her General Nursing Council State Registered Nurse badge, this impressed with Birmingham silver hallmarks for 1923 maker's details "Thomas Fattorini" and inscribed "S.M.I.Powell. S.R.N. 8656 27.10.22.". Very good condition.

A scarce original circa 1912 - 1940 'South London Hospital for Women nurse's badge'; gilded brass example, the crest bearing the sun, waxing and waning moons and nurses 'Lamp of Knowledge' with motto `Et Dato Gaudetis'; the reverve with maker's details "Thomas Fattorini Regent St Birmingham". A scarce original short lived 'Fair Mile Hospital silver and enamel badge' circular example bearing red cross and inscribed to the rim "Group Training School St.Birinus Group Hospital Management Committee" with title scroll below; the reverse impressed with Birmingham silver hallmarks for 1969 and maker's details "T.F" (Thomas Fattorini).
