An interesting Thanks Badge engraved to reverse "Jan 1924 Apr 1929" "From Officers & Guides of the 23rd Co Past & Present to the Best Captain That Ever Was".
Reverse stamped with Birmingham 9 carat gold hallmarks for 1928 and makers mark JAW&Co (J.A.Wylie) also with registered number. Remains in very good condition. Height with ring 34mm.

A rare Neck Award stamped with Birmingham silver hallmarks for 1959 and with makers mark JAW Co (J.A.Wylie). Remains in very good condition with no damage to the enamel. White silk neck ribbon now absent. Height with ring 52mm.
(Name was changed in 1965 to the Laurel Award along with ribbon colour.)
