Royal Hong Kong Police Force Pair of Cufflinks in Original Presentation Case.

A scarce post-1969 'Royal Hong Kong Police cufflinks' gilded metal and enamel examples in the form of the forces badge, surmounted by a Queen Elizabeth II Crown. Housed in their original velvet lined presentation case with gold leaf badge details to the inside lid and inscribed "Gazetted Officers' Mess Royal Hong Kong Police". Excellent condition.
Height 45mm.

Queen Elizabeth II granted the 'Royal' prefix in 1969 to the 'Hong Kong Police Force' and it became the 'Royal Hong Kong Police Force' only to be removed in 1997 upon the transfer of sovereignty of Hong Kong to China.

A good original large pattern 'The Life Boys brass and enamel badge', worn on the boys' jersey uniform from 1927 to 1942 and again from 1954 through to 1966 when the Life Boys came to an end.
