A good original circa 1949 large gilded brass sports prize medal, the obverse bearing an embossed 'Desert Rats' symbol; the reverse engraved within a laurel wreath "7th Armoured Division Water Polo Championship 1949 Won by 3rd Bn Parachute Regiment. Good condition, complete with ring suspension, minor service wear.

WW1 Royal Field Artillery 1914 / 1915 Star Medal.

Awarded to "1703 GNR. F. Chrispin. R.F.A." Complete with replacement ribbon. Good condition, toned.

Driver Frederick Chrispin enlisted into the Territorial Royal Field Artillery with the service number 1703 on the 30th November 1914. He was posted for service in Egypt and landed on the 27th May 1915. He was later issued the service number 695079. He was discharged on the 6th April 1919 due to ill health and was awarded the 'Silver War Badge'.

Burma Star Association circa 1950's Membership Lapel Badge by J.R.Gaunt.

A good original early post-1951 'Burma Star Association membership lapel badge' designed on the style of the Burma Campaign Star in gilded brass and inlaid with yellow and green enamel, the reverse bearing maker's detail "J.R.Gaunt. London". Excellent condition, complete with original buttonhole fitting.

The Burma Star Association was officially founded on the 26th February 1951.

British War Medal and Victory Medal awarded to "1382 PTE. E.H. WALLIS. 20-LOND. R.". Complete with original watered silk ribbons.

1382 Private Ernest Henry Wallis was a native of Lewisham and enlisted into the 20th Bn London Regiment. He is confirmed as being awarded the Pair only and the second Regimental number 630243. He was Killed in Action on the 30th August 1918.

Awarded to 547968 SPR G GARMIRIAN R.E. Mounted as originally worn.

'Sapper Gregory Garmirian' Royal Engineers is confirmed as being awarded the Pair only. He was born at Constantinople in 1883 and granted British citizenship in April 1914. In the post war years he based himself in Hendon North London as a Turkish Armenian trader. It is interesting to note that this is a unique issue, no other man of this surname was issued with Great War medals in the army.
