A very good original 'Boy Scouts thanks badge'; title strap bearing arrowhead with stars to voided centre and mounted on a bar, the reverse impressed with Birmingham silver hallmarks for 1981 and maker’s details “D.G.C” (Sir D G Collins Ltd London). Very good mint condition, retaining original pin fittings with safety roller catch in perfect working order and housed in its original Scout Shop presentation case.

A rare original 'Boy Scouts unmarked silver buttonhole badge', integral fleur de lys on swastika. Excellent condition, complete with original buttonhole horseshoe fitting. Contained in a period cardboard box with details to the lid 'Mappin & Webb, 2, Queen Victoria St, London E.C.' Not sure of the connection if any.

The ancient 'Swastika symbol representing Happiness' was disassociated with in the mid 1930's in England.
