National Federation of Subpostmasters silver union medal

A scarce original 'The National Federation of Subpostmasters' circular silver gilt and enamel medal, bearing the Coat of Arms of the United Kingdom blue silk ribbon and top suspension bar inscribed "Past President 1947 /49; the reverse impressed with Birmingham silver hallmarks for 1969, maker's details "M&B" (Marples & Beasley Birmingham) and named to the recipient "Mr J. Little. 1947-1949". Very good condition, retaining original pin fittings, enamel perfect, gold finish remains bright.
