A scarce original circa 1920 -1937 'General Post Office postman's cap badge'; large oval crowned die-stamped brass example inscribed in embossed enamel lettering "GPO", blue enamel central band bearing an applied brass postmans identification number "2" with area code "T" below; Very good condition, complete with two loop fittings to reverse together with securing pin, no damage to the enamel.
