A good original pre-1953 period 'Soldiers, Saliors & Airmens Families Association silver plate and enamel badge' the reverse with maker's details "J.R.Gaunt London". Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings, no damage to the enamel.

'Soldiers' and Sailors' Families Association' S.S.F.A. was founded by Major Gildea in 1885 with Queen Alexandra becoming the first president.
