A good original circa 1933 to 1939 period Welsh 'Cardiff City Special Constabulary police badge'; Crowned gilt title circlet inlaid with white enamel, the centre bearing vivid enamel shield bearing the Cardiff City Coat of Arms on blue enamel ground; the reverse impressed with maker's details 'Fattorini & Sons Ltd Bradford Works Birmingham' (a manufacturers mark used between 1933 and 1939). Very good condition, complete with original buttonhole fitting, no damage to the enamel, gilt finish remains bright.
