British Broadcasting Corporation BBC national service badge

A scarce original circa 1950's issue 'British Broadcasting Corporation lapel badge' worn as a form of identity and to fulfill the role of a National Service badge; nickel silver example displaying the company's logo with 'BBC' cypher to the centre on blue enamel ground, the reverse impressed with maker's details 'H.W.Miller Ltd. B'Ham.18". Very good condition, complete with original buttonhole fitting, no damage to the enamel.
