A scarce original pre 1953 period 'Royal Berkshire Regiment officer's cap badge'; die cast bronze crowned rope coil, mounted by silver crowned overlay with red enamel cushion 'China Dragon' to voided centre. Good condition. Please note both loop fittings are replacements. Price reflects.
Height approx 39mm
The rope alludes to their serving as marines during the Battle of Copenhagen.
