A scarce original post 1940 Second World War period English made 'Free French Navy FNFL heavier duty pin badge'; small pattern diamond shaped gilt brass enamel example, bearing the 'Cross of Lorraine' and 'France Libre'; the reverse impressed with very low official issue number '166' and 'Regd No 838307' a registered, design and patent date of 1939. Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings, no stress marks or damage to the enamel.
