Free French Resurgam 1940 Union Jack flag numbered pin badge

A scarce original Second World War period English made 'Free French pin badge' gilt brass circular example inlaid with red, white and blue enamel 'Union Jack' inset with panel bearing partial Cross of Lorraine' and inscribed 'Resurgam 1940', additional bars top and bottom 'Les Francais de Grande-Bretagne'; the reverse with maker's details 'H.W.Miller Ltd Branston St B'Ham.18' and impressed with official issue number '4621'. Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings, no damage to the enamel, an excellent example.
