A scarce original post war utility scheme period 'League of Ovaltineys membership badge' grey blue celluloid example bearing a title strap, the centre depicting a white 'LO' logo on red ground. Very good condition, complete with original pin fitting slightly loose within the shell, otherwise an excellent example with good patina.
Diameter 24mm.
The League of Ovaltineys children's club was founded in 1935, a spin off advertising scheme from the malt flavoured Ovaltine beverage drink. The league continued until circa 1952.
