A scarce original circa 1940's period Welsh 'Caernarvonshire Special Constable police badge'; Crowned gilt title circlet inlaid with white enamel, the centre bearing white shield on blue, depicting three stylized eagles from the County Coat of Arms; the reverse with unusual maker's details 'C.W. FORFAR JEWELLERS LLANDUDNO'. Good condition, complete with original buttonhole fitting, gilt finish remains bright, minor enamel flaw to 'S' of Special, price reflects.
